Leslie Mitchell is a Humanist celebrant living near Limoges in the French Limousin. He is registered with Humanist Society Scotland (HSS) and is authorised by the Registrar General (Scotland) to conduct legal weddings in Scotland.
For much of his career Leslie worked for the BBC as a producer in radio and television, running his own production company before taking up a job as a lecturer in media at Stirling University.
He’s written a couple of books about work in the media, “Freelancing in Radio and Television”

and “Production Management for Television”. Both of them are published by Routledge (Oxford)

Leslie recently retired from full-time work University though he still keeps in touch with academic life and the media as an external Examiner for the University of Liverpool Edge Hill. . Leslie has been conducting Humanist ceremonies for about ten years and is now hoping to expand this work in France.
Hey Leslie
I hope all is well. My partner and I are getting married next year in St. Andrews and we are struggling with organising a humanist. Our friends Wendy and Findley recommended yourself however I notice you live in France now. I always have a memory of their ceremony being fun and very personal – do you ever come back over to the UK? If not is there anyone you would recommend with a similar style to yourself?
Thanks

Hi Leslie
I am organising a very small wedding celebration for my Scottish cousin in the
Pyrenees on 12 September. She is getting officially married before she comes
and then we want to have a small ceremony for her and what you are describing on
your web site looks perfect.
We are in Mauleon in the Atlantic Pyrenees and wondering first of
all are you available and secondly an idea of your charges.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Lynne
